Decision making is key and one of the most important aspects in any journey. And journey of #entrepreneurship is no different. Right decision at the right time would give right results. A missed opportunity due to delay in decision making, sometimes can prove very costly in the #startup journey.
So what should be the approach in such a situation? I do the following things, that makes my decision making real perfect. I am not claiming that I don’t fail, but by doing this I am more prepared even to face the failure.
– In case of any major decision making, we hold internal meetings with all the leaders in my set-up.
– We also discuss this with outside stakeholders like – good vendors, who have become friends and patrons. Knowledge partners like CA etc.
– By doing this we narrow down on our options of decision making. Then we again mull over the remaining options.
– At the end, we follow our gut. It is important for an #entrepreneur to trust his gut. After all the #startup idea is his own brain child and it is he, who can best decide what is best for his business.
We were discouraged by many on starting a venture in Dubai initially. We burnt money since we launched the set-up 6 months back. But as on today we are looking at the following opportunities:
– A franchisee inquiry of Hearty Mart
– A white label manufacturing for International Market
– A trade opportunity at Oman
– A signed deal to market a software in UAE as a platinum partner.
We followed our gut and we reached here! Always do what your heart tells you, but after mulling over options and thorough discussions with stakeholders. That would keep you well prepared for any outcome.
