Entrepreneurial lessons I learnt while travelling through this journey :
1) Each business is different and hence approach to handle that might differ from person to person. Blindly copying others doesn’t work. Take key insights, do reflect on your own circumstances and take a studied decision.
2) Entrepreneurship isn’t a rat race. It is a journey to achieve success by way of bringing value to your stake holders – Employees, Investors, Customers, Family and your own self. Hence, avoid indulging into the growth and valuation rat race. Focus on value creation for all involved.
3) Entrepreneurship should result in complete freedom, not just financial freedom but also freedom to decide on how you intend to spend your day and time. Freedom in real sense of taking control of your own life and not bounded by decisions taken by others. There is no fun in reducing yourself as an employee of your own company and taking a 10th of your last salary when you were employed by someone else.
