#Farm2market is a part of network of ventures created by #HeartyMart.
This venture aims at connecting and creating network of farmers of SabarKantha region in Gujarat and market their produce to consumers and the industries. Yesterday, we had a meeting with #partners of this venture at their godown/office at Jadar near Himmatnagar.
We aim to conduct periodic workshops for farmers as a value added service. We also look for good quality farm inputs for the farmers and ensure that we provide them at an economical cost. And lastly we market the select produce of these farmers to the industry and consumers. These 3 areas of operations have made the venture quite favourite amongst the farmers and gradually the network of these farmers has soared.
Soon, we aim to expand with few #Farm2Market points in other region of North Gujarat, to help farmers of these regions with our idea.
