The four people I meet in Heaven

by admin

The experiences we go through, the people we meet, mould our personalities and outlook towards life. Sometimes this inspiration comes from people we haven’t met. We read about them and create perceptions about them and get inspired. Sharing my inspirations whom I didn’t meet :

#JackWelch : In his book – Straight from the gut, mentions that in GE, he created a space for his Sr. managers to relax and discuss business informally. That helped him in knowing them and they came up with wonderful ideas. We created #HeartyMart brand office on these lines.#JackWelch : In the same book, he also mentions about his stammering. He would ask his mom for the reason, she would say his mind works so fast that his tongue is unable to match the pace. He never thought it to be his weakness. A lesson learnt – Weakness can’t stop our growth.

#JRDTATA: When he took over TATA group in early 30s, he was 22 yrs, lost everything his father created as his property, operated from one of the rooms of Taj Mumbai. Rebuild the empire from there. He was fondly called “Apdo JRD” as per Sudha Murthy, in his employee friendly set-up. Inspirational.

#SteveJobs : He was master of business integration. He had his own hardware, iOS, music, stores for iPhones. This gave him total control and quality output was achieved. Inspired from this model, at our business we focus more on raw ingredients and don’t compromise at all.We procure quality Wheat from farmers (Farm2Market), produce our own ATTA (Khamir) using this wheat, and create our own buns, cookies, cakes etc using this ATTA at BakersPoint. This control on the supply chain helps us in creating good quality bakery products.

#Phantom: This brave superhero is known to help oppressed people silently. He keeps two rings with him. One with the skull mark is a bad news for evil people, while there is a ring with sign of protection for those who are oppressed. This is a classic example of #branding.
